Warm Up
If you were a lobbyist, what arguments would you use to convince the Governor that high schools in Maryland should have a later start time in the morning? (two fact based reasons)
Objective
  • Students will be able to define and identify the effects of lobbying on the legislative branch
  • Students will be able to identify at least two ways in which lawmakers are influenced
